Strolling along the waterfront of the
Grottammare promenade, on a day in mid-October, still warm but with an eastern wind, makes one think of the sculptures of Pericle Fazzini, The Wind Sculptor.

Grottammare and the artistic career of the sculptor Pericle Fazzini, born in Grottammare in 1913 and known as the "sculptor of the wind".
At the entrance of the pedestrian path that connects the town to Cupra Marittima you can admire the bronze casting of Boy with seagulls, obtained from the original wooden of 1940-1944. In the square is Metamorfosi, the statue dedicated to Kennedy and then donated by the artist himself to the city. The Portrait of Mario Rivosecchi, work in honor of his poet friend, is in the Parco della Madonnina, while a Via Crucis in bronze is kept in the church of Sant’Agostino.
